Industrial ventilation systems is the specialized system designed to bring a specific amount of air outside from the manufacturing unit called exhaust and the same amount of air is being intake with a specific velocity. This process is necessary to bring out all the contaminated dust particles, gases, and heated air that can be hazardous to not only workers but the machines inside the manufacturing unit. The basic industrial ventilation system consists of two main parts, a fresh air supply system (that brings fresh air from outer environment into the production hall) and the exhaust system (that remove the polluted air from inside the plant or production hall). Let's discuss all the components one by one below,
Air Inlet: Air inlet is the entry point for the entrance of fresh air into the manufacturing plant specifically designed (size, diameter etc.) after checking the requirements of specific amount of airflow and specific velocity of the desired industrial plant. It also has filter for cleaning the air and duct to move the air with desired velocity.
Air Filtration Equipment: Air filters are essential component of industrial ventilation used to remove airborne particles (dust, hazardous gases, chemical vapors) from inside the manufacturing plant. Different types of air filters can be used depending on the size of the component to be filtered from the air. These air filters required cleaning and replacement in order to ensure the healthy air flow.
Air Filters Used In Industrial Ventilation System
Fan: Fan with specific blade shape helps to circulate the air in desired direction with desired velocity. Mostly fans are placed after the air filtration system but even then they required proper cleaning and checking for the efficient working.
Ducts: Ducts are the pipelines that throw or distribute the air inside the plant facility. An ideal duct is that need minimal fan power for air distribution and ensure minimal loss of air pressure. Also its inner composition should not got damaged by the contaminated air particles.
Ducts used in Industrial Ventilation System Exhaust: Industrial Exhaust system remove all the contaminated hot air included dust, fumes making the inner plant environment safer for both workers and machines as too much moisture and temperature is not good for the machine health also.
